SOSKELY
CAMPAIGN BRANDING AND GRAPHIC DESIGN
COLLABORATED WITH PETER LAMPARD AND NORMAN UNG FROM DEFT
ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR, DIGITAL PAINTING, HAND SKETCHES, 3D MODELLING

Anchor 2
It was a project I have worked on when I was in Design Eight Five Two (DEFT, a design studio based in Hong Kong).
SOSKELY was a campaign in the HK Sevens event aiming to teach teenagers who are going into adulthood how to
remain safe when socialising. The full name of SOSKELY was Save Our Sevens and KELY was the name of the
supporting group. DEFT was employed for the branding and designing of the entire campaign.
LOGO DESIGN

At first I started with sketching according to a few keywords, such as "water", "support" and "teens". We tried to
develop the logo from one of the sketch, but we found out that our clients weren't a fan of hand sketched logo. I
therefore made another one digitalised, showing the colour of rainbow, with water drop forming the "O" and hands
making up the letter "Y", incorporating the meanings of "diversity", "water" and "support". Eventually, the clients
preferred a more simplified version of the design.

POSTERS DESIGN

Posters were made according to three themes, "know when to chill", "look out for your squad" and "water is your
H2Bro".

TATTOO STICKERS DESIGN

The clients would like the stickers look "Coachella". Hence, the graphic type of designs were not employed. The
content of the stickers were still the three slogans.

RESTING BOOTH DESIGN

The original design of the resting booth consists of some giant scrabble pieces, yet due to time constraint and clients'
interest, the giant scrabble pieces were not produced. We have also designed some stickers as souvenirs and for the
teens to stick onto the backdrop.
